My first though upon seeing your portfolio was howcome you didn't choose: smugmug or photoshelter?

There are a whole series of reasons why you should use a real service like one of the above ranging from SEO, to ease of use to quality. But mainly they both cater to photographers specifically.

Is there any particular reason you chose wix?

I actually just chose it because I didnt want to pay for one of the others. I pay for hosting through Intuit because I like the security ( I file my Taxes through it) but I have not completed my site yet. I dont want to publish it until I feel ready to start a business and I feel like I need to do at least one more wedding a senior or 2 and a family or two.

The sooner you start the better as well.

New websites take a long time to gain traction.
