I’m so happy to see your photos. You’re improving by leaps and bounds.
You have really started to see things the way a photographer does. Your photos are making everyday moments into works of art.
You are in a particularly interesting situation. You find yourself in interesting places like Lebanon and you have the ability to take good photographs.
Take advantage of your unique position and focus on it, so to speak…
A couple of minor notes on these photos.
Try to avoid using a harsh flash in portraits of people. Notice the harsh shadow that it leaves.
Also your photograph of the coffee cup is also not your strongest photograph.
Don’t let that bring you down. I just have higher expectations now that I’ve seen some of your recent photographs.
Lesson 6 and lesson 5 work hand in hand and I hope you’ve learned quite a bit from them. Your work will stand apart if you can combine them in your work.
These critiques are quite short because you clearly understand the assignment and you’ve done very well with your images.
