Wonderful assignment.

You’ve accomplished exactly what was asked of you for this assignment. At the same time you’ve managed to incorporate many of the concepts learnt in previous lessons as well. For example, in this assignment I see the following

1: You’ve abided by the rule of thirds in your horizon line
2: You’ve placed the bird roughly at the intersecting point of the imaginary rule of third lines
3: You’ve simplified your color pallet by underexposing the image pushing all dark hues into black
4: Underexposing has also brought out and exaggerated the vibrant colors of the sky
5: The positioning of the lighting adds a unique element to the photograph. You have used flare and reflection to help add to the magical feel of this photograph.

It’s a beautiful nature photograph. You’ve managed to take a fairly complicated and complex natural setting and found a way to simplify it using both technical and artistic preferences. Great work!
