Sorry for taking so long but every other pictures I took for this lesson didn’t feel like it meant the requirements.

    Hi Cassandra,

I’d like you to re-shoot this assignment if possible. There are particularly distracting elements in the background (van and blown out highlights). Had you stepped over to the left and gotten a little closer they would not be there… What’s more the composition feels very awkward and your main area of interest (the girl) is not very sharp.

Remember your viewer most likely knows nothing about what’s in the photograph other than what they can see.

Try to do this one again and focus on simplification!

    Keep practicing!!!!

    Thank you.

    Hi Cassandra,

I like what you’re trying to do here but notice that you have missed focus again. You have focused on the background not the area of interest. (The fence is in focus, not the skateboarder)

I like your idea with this photo for sure though.

Please re-shoot with the most important thing in your frame properly in focus and exposed correctly. This image is underexposed and out of focus.

That’s totally ok because you are trying new things and it’s great! Keep trying.

Take out your lens and look at the distance markings on the lens barrel when you autofocus on various things at different distances.

Focus is fundamental to getting nice images. So please try this one more time!

    Thank you
