Oh, I didn’t realize that was you! We did sort out the payments thing, but I’m wondering about the lessons themselves. Do I start over at 1 or can I start back up at lesson 6?
Ok, I will do that! It sounds fun lol. I find I really like the filters, especially the grey grad filter, I love the darkening effect it has, especially with black and white.
Ok, I have some questions about the lesson though. I want to make sure I understand. Is every color a good complimentary color or contrast color to black? How about white? And what is the complimentary color to brown? I won’t do anymore post processing, its a habit I have to break. I don’t usually for assignments but I’m going to find another image to shoot for this one because that one just didn’t look right without fixing up the background, I don’t have any backdrops so I had used a black blanket which the wrinkles showed up in when I looked back later.
Yes the set I bought has 9, there’s a grey grad, nd, and the rest are color grads. I’ve tried a few but not all of them yet. I was trying to make the blue parts of the sky more vibrant to stand out against the grey clouds, I guess that didn’t work lol.
Oh yes, I sure can post another with shallow depth of field! I’ll shoot and post it by this evening :). And you are right, I had a lot of fun with these!
Okay I swear that manual never says anything about how to do it lol, but I put it in manual and then googled the issue too and got an answer on yahoo about what to toggle, It is so not labeled lol. But I have it! 馃榾 Thank you! I was starting to feel really silly!
Thank you, I’m glad you liked his work! They just amaze me. Yes, that was the image I was talking about, I can’t point out exactly why I love it so much. I think it would be great fun to try a similar shot, I have photo’s I love that I have tried to do that with and ended up with pictures I really liked; I will give it a try!
Thank you for rotating those! So are we not supposed to be looking at other student’s posted work? I wasn’t looking to copy by any means, I just thought it was all pretty cool. Will we learn about the f stop stuff later on? I’m not sure what all that means. Thanks so much!
