What is Macro Photography?

At the simplest level Macro photography is just extreme close-up photography. In most cases Macro Photography involves taking photos of very small objects and then later displaying the images in larger than life size. Whether that is on a display, on screen, or by making prints.

The human eye can only see so much detail so with the use of Macro Lenses and Macro Photography techniques photographers can showcase things that would otherwise be extremely difficult if not impossible to see with the naked eye!

Macro Photography is an art form and some of the images created using this technique cab be absolutely mind blowing!
