yes i can fully control my camera manually. I’ve been using it manually to try and grasp the concept of every option on the camera. i understand depth of field as how much detail you can get into your picture using the aperture setting. shutter speed is how much light you let into your picture. i may be understanding something wrong or maybe even doing something wrong when trying to get the pictures for the assignment.
