This is a fantastic photograph. My initial reaction to this photography was “wow”. From a strictly technical standpoint you’ve done a wonderful job of composition. Similarly, your color arrangement is very well executed. The contrasting colors really add a dramatic feel to this photograph.

Not only that, but your isolation using your depth of field is also very well thought out. You’ve managed to slightly blur your background while keeping the main area of interest in complete focus. You’ve also managed to three layers (i.e. foreground, middle ground and background) which makes your picture even more interesting to look at. Having a foreground helps lead the viewers eyes into the picture and your main object acts as a stop sign to give their eyes something to rest on.

Most importantly, you’ve managed to organize the 4 walls of your photograph nicely keeping them uncluttered or distracting. This is a great example of a picture that uses “amputation” wisely.
