Hi Cassandra,
I’d like you to re-shoot this assignment if possible. There are particularly distracting elements in the background (van and blown out highlights). Had you stepped over to the left and gotten a little closer they would not be there… What’s more the composition feels very awkward and your main area of interest (the girl) is not very sharp.
Remember your viewer most likely knows nothing about what’s in the photograph other than what they can see.
Try to do this one again and focus on simplification!
