Thanks for sending in your first assignment.

If you could please add an avatar (pic) and add a signature. It just makes it easier for everyone to interact on the forum.

The main thing here is that you have begun your journey toward becoming a better photographer. You have taken action toward that goal.

The interesting thing about the journey is that you never really arrive. Even the greatest photographers of all time continue to learn right up until the end.

In your first assignment you have submitted a photograph of a relatively mundane object although it does have some nice color.

You’ve chosen a more interesting angle and used depth of field to your advantage to highlight the buttons.

This is great! The main thing to take away here is that even the mundane can be made visually interesting through photography and photographic techniques.

In this instance you could have added someone playing the joystick as well and maybe even some motion like this:
