my inspiration for this assignement will be Mark Ryden. Hes not a photographer but every paintings he does gets my attention and I try to see every detail in it. His character always have a cute side and a dark side. You try to see wich emotions they have and you can almost feel them. He has a very unqiue way of expressing himself trought his paintings. You almost feel like if you were in a nightmare but at the same time you don’t want to wake up. My favourite painting of him is *Rose* from the Blood collection. I lost my father when I was 7 and when I saw that painting I felt that she was feeling the same way that I did. I did my own version of this sad little girl, with oil painting on a canvas.

I don’t really know any photographer, Photography is something new for me but I looked trought the internet and found a style that got my eye. His name is Yanick Déry and hes from montreal, http://www.yanickdery.com he is really great.

I also lok trought http://www.lynseyaddario.com and I loved the way she gets the emotion on a picture, shes is awesome.
I loved this assignement because I learned photographer i didnt know about.

    Great!

Thank you for sharing this. A few other artists that have the childish and cut aesthetic mixed with a darker tone include many of the artists at a gallery known as “Ayden”. Most of them are painters, but I hope you can find inspiration in their work as well. You can a roster of the galleries modern artists here:

    Thanks again for sharing.
