I decided to fix one of my wedding photos. I had my wedding at Graceland and the photographer did not do any touch ups on my pictures, so for this assingment I decided to give it a try. I like what I have done. I fixed some minor skin issues, whitened our teeth and added a flashlight filter making the colors come out a little more.

    Hey!

Thanks for submitting another assignment. You guys look great!

I really like what you’ve done here.

You’ve taken the all powerful photoshop and used it with subtlety and class.

I always tell people that when it comes to photoshop: “with great power comes great responsibility” You’ve taken that responsibility and genuinely improved a photograph.

Given this is not a course about digital darkroom or photoshop specifically I won’t dwell too much on the specifics. The main thing is that you understand the tools exist and you know what they can do.

In this specific case the only improvement I would suggest is to use a vignetting look or filter as opposed to a flashlight filter.

I believe a vignetted look is what you we’re going for.

Be careful also not to artificially overexpose a properly exposed image. You’re right on the edge of blowing out some of the highlights in this shot.

Excellent work here and I’m happy you’ve done so well on this assignment.

    On to the next assignment!
