Ok Duncan, here you go. I will be continually updating but this should work for the assignment. All advice welcome.

    Hey Kirk!!!

    How are things.

    Nice portfolio!

The first thing I noticed was a photograph of a buffalo that looks purple. It caught my eye immediately. I believe the saturation is too high on the image or the white balance may be off a little.

    I think it’s this one.

    I like this image.

In your flowers gallery you have three images that are very similar. Try to make each image unique and interesting on it’s own. Harder than it sounds…

Also on your main page it’s not clear that it’s a slideshow. It took me like 5 minutes of browsing to realize that the main image cycles through different images… Not sure if there is an option to enable arrows or some type of notification that it’s a slideshow.

    Anyway.

Great stuff here Kirk! Now, shoot more photos photos of people. Your friends faces, your family, people on the street. People are always inherently interesting.

    Great work here!

Thanks! Yeah I need to fix those levels on that one. Thats what happened when I auto balanced the levels. I still have more to upload. My problem with people is I hate boring photos of smiles and staged looks. I like emotion and action. I need to start carrying my camera ALL the time so I can capture those moments. I think there is more I can do with how that slideshow works. Still learning/working out kinks. Thanks a bunch!

Yes carry your camera 100% of the time.

    You must!

I’m forced to carry around a dinky little point and shoot camera sometimes because I can’t carry my DSLR sometimes….
