I think this photo works really well. I took several shots of the dandelion… some with the broken one in the bottom right corner and some without it. I prefer it with the 2nd flower because it brings balance to the whole dandelion. It’s visually simple because of the the color is limited to greens with the white highlights, and it is balanced with the rule of thirds. The backdrop of the grass creates a nice texture that doesn’t distract from the flower.

You need to improve your control over depth of field. The shallow depth of field is just to shallow. My eye wants to see more of the detail in the dandelion!!!
