ParticipantI took this at sunset at Lions Bridge in Virginia. The only thing I could not get in the frame was the tree on the left. I have half of it but there was a nasty light pole that would have thrown off the image or the look I was going for. :/

ParticipantYea I understand. Thanks for the feedback and I will use that to my advantage when redoing this picture. It may be in a different area.

ParticipantThanks! Actually there is no editing to this besides re-sizing it! I framed it when I was on location the way I wanted it took and the way the sun was it was casting a nice shadow. It was also overcast so that helped a lot.

ParticipantThank you! It was actually a more difficult shoot then I had imagined. The sun being low and bright there was a lot of shadow play going on. I kept moving her around and facing the sun, then her back to the sun and I would just try different angles etc and I got a lot of good shots that I wanted but at the same time the shots I had really planned on turned out to be not so good. But I like how they turned out of for the most part and it was really fun! Esp just playing around with the different settings and shadows and light.

ParticipantThanks for the feedback. Within the next day or two I will re-do the first picture at a slower shutter speed. You were right, I did have the shutter speed fast. I had totally forgot when I took the picture. I will re-post the new picture soon.

ParticipantThanks for the feedback! With the 2nd picture I did zoom a little bit to much and could have zoomed out a little bit. I will def watch out for that next time to make sure everything that I want is in the picture and the symmetry is correct. I see what you mean with the attachment you posted. Good picture by the way.
