For this photo, I was driving on my way into town and caught a glimpse of this evening setting. I felt like it was a good shot. The wet road seemed to serve as a leading line up to the suns rays shining through the trees. The only problem I had – I didn’t have my good camera with me!! I grabbed the camera I had and took the shot. That should explain the lesser quality, but please let me know what you think of the shot. This assignment poses a little more of a challenge for me as we do not have many places for exceptional landscape shots (or cityscapes) around here.
I didn’t even think of it! I’m still getting used to this camera. I’ll remember the manual focus in the future! Thank you for pointing that out.
I think my mistake could have been that I tried to take in too much of the person in the background in relation to the dandelion, so my result was a focus on the grass.
Here’s my second shot. I would have liked to be able to focus more on the dandelion, but the overall image is combines of a few simple colors.
