    Hi Duncan,
I believe I have completed the exam now with a much improved score. Have you had a chance to assess this? I assume a certificate of completion will be issued after this?

    Thanks

Roadworks near my house, or at least a sign suggesting this is taking place……

    Hi Duncan,
The more common term used over here is ‘flat out like a lizard drinking.’ I take it you are still flat out then?

    Cheers

I was actually trying to achieve a golden river look. I really haven’t spent much time with Photoshop but having played with it a bit further have come up with another photo which depicts the sort of effect I was hoping for in the first one. This new photo highlights the colours and beauty of my gorgious little girl while still presenting the surrounding landscape but allowing her to be the focal point.

My Daughter, as she always does, threw her shoe on the ground after taking it off. This one ended up on the stone path and it occured to me it might make a good image. Enjoy. 馃榾

Having read this assignment again, you are right and I certainly didn’t put enough thought into the shot.
I have resubmitted with another idea in mind and hope this does meet the criteria. It was a decision made on the spot but hopefully the level of creativity is sufficient.

Sorry, I did get ahead of myself however when I out taking photos, I am usually taking a few and found some that suited this topic. I will wait from now on until i have received your feedback before moving onto the next topic.

    Cheers Paul

    Hi,
Here is my submission. It was very difficult to take this photo given the high risk of direct eye contact with the light which can cause permanent damage however I guess thats what photography is all about…taking risks. Hope you like it.

    Cheers Paul

Thank you for the feedback. All feedback is positive in my eyes. I only want to improve my photogrpahy skills.
I have had a further think about making these photos more interesting and have hopefully hit the nail on the head with these shots.

I look forward to your thoughts.

I wanted to submit another photo using a slow shutter speed based on your feedback. I believe I have improved the shot and my understanding of this type of photography.
